Well mom and dad had a great first day together. He slept well... she didn't, but she didn't sleep well at Winchester either. Tonight she looked very tired so I am hoping that she will be able to get some rest. She is still very sore from the open heart surgery. I think yesterday was very tiring for her as well. As for Dad, he's great. In his words he is "tickled to death" that mom is rooming with him now. Mom started some therapy today and she will continue that daily. Dad had a good day in therapy today too. They will both have therapy Saturday too. We are so at peace about them being at Heartland and being cared for by nurses and trained staff.
Stop in and see them whenever you can even if for a few minutes - they would love to see you all! Room 149 is the new Kisner abode!
